Saee, my Yoga teacher turned friend has come up with an interesting venture. She now officially guides and counsels people for a healthy life. How does she do it? She is an advocate and follower of a movement called whole plant-based food (wpbd). What exactly is it?
I quote from Wikipedia
A plant-based diet is a diet consisting mostly or entirely of foods derived from plants, including vegetables, grains, nuts, seeds, legumes and fruits, and with few or no animal products.
Saee and her family have been following this lifestyle for 5 years now. Her family doesn't eat any animal products. She is a swimmer and is extremely fit. With this diet, she has become more active and healthy from within. Her kids also follow it very religiously as she involves them while cooking food. They love eating different foods devoid of any artificial things. They have incorporated their extended families and friends in this wonderful movement and now Saee has become an entrepreneur. She has started her own Facebook and YouTube channels. I am giving the links below. Do go through them and like them and share them. She has shared wonderful recipes with simple-looking ingredients and using the things available in our daily Indian kitchen. It's nothing exotic, just the awareness makes a lot of difference!

It's a call of the day. With so many lifestyle diseases like Cholesterol, Blood Pressure, Diabetes, Heart Problems and the different kinds of deadly cancers, it's high time we invest a little in our health and in the health of our children to give them a better and strong future. The ready-made food available in the market is laden with so many things that are not all good for the body. We should all try to do our bit for the mother nature too by eating local food and avoiding meat and exotic stuff which travels from far off lands. It's time to switch back to the old methods which our grandparents used and they have lived a happy and fulfilling life. It's time to sit back and give it a thought. What did they do right and what are we doing wrong? With so much money and stress, we are the Diabetic capital of the world. With so much affluence, the health of youth and people in the 40's is suffering a great deal. Whole plant-based food could be an option of bringing back an equilibrium. Give it a try!
After all, only a good body can do a lot of unachievable things and build a future of healthy and happy minds having healthy bodies!
