Rally for Rivers - Cauvery Callling

Greta Thunberg, a Swedish student, is garnering attention all over the world for her global climate change awareness movement. A lot of support is pouring for the championed cause from all corners of the world. India is also undergoing a similar revolution. A campaign to revive the rivers - Cauvery Calling - Rally for Rivers. Sadhguru from Isha Yoga Centre is at its helm. He recently completed a 16 days tour in the Indian states to raise awareness about the depleting condition of rivers and its effects on the population.

In 2 weeks, I will reach an important milestone in my life. I was hoping and planning to spend that special day with my parents. But neither my parents nor my husband is going to be around. I managed to invite my "second" family, my German friends from the Buddhist chanting group and will spend the evening with them chanting and having dinner later. My husband said he would gift me an iPad and we got very excited and busy searching online for the iPad catering to our needs.

I am back after a small hiatus.

A week of quick vacation to the wonderful Toscana region in Italy, the excitement and happiness of my parents' arrival and T's 2nd school year left me overwhelmed and I couldn't just focus on writing. I decided to end the silence on my blog today and what did I choose to write? Of course, about the long impending travel of my parents to Germany. My father's first-ever journey outside India! So many plans made, so many trips on the list, so many bookings done. The day was approaching and my and T's joys knew no bounds.
