The blue sky

It's exactly 13 years today. I clearly remember the date. 30.06.2006. And why wouldn't I? It was my wedding with A in my native town and it was raining very heavily. The auspicious time to garland each other was at 12:30 and it was comparatively late when compared with another wedding muhurta (auspicious time). The priests were saying the mantras but the rainfall was so heavy that the mantras couldn't be heard clearly. The day finished off quite well, in a hurry as most weddings do and everyone was happy and my parents and my maternal uncle, his wife, and their son were having mixed reactions. They were happy that I had got married but sad that now it would never be the same again.

My neighbor and I have a great rapport. We do many things together like cycling, cooking, going for a walk in the forest, watching a movie, etc. She invited me today to go with her and her son to a city called Tübingen near Stuttgart to see the exhibition of the famous painter, Leonardo Da Vinci. Her son had a project at school and this exhibition would help him to collect information and seek a first-hand experience over the paintings.

What!? You are going to Russia? What will you do there? Why Russia? You going alone? Without the husband and kid? I got all these reactions when I mentioned to a few friends that I will be visiting Russia for a week with my mom and her group who will come to Moscow from Mumbai. The visa application was very smooth from Germany. I sent all the documents along with my passport to the Russian Embassy in Berlin and got the visa in a week delivered home. Visa happened two months ago in March and the date to travel was 25th May. My dear hubby had already booked flights for the trip and he encouraged me to go alone while he and his mother offered to take care of Tanay.

हॅलो आबा, कसे आहेत? कुठे आहेत? ओळखलंत ना मला? मी तुमची दीपा. आता एका मुलाची आई, बायको, सून आणि बरंच काही. आधी फक्त तुमची नात होते, आता प्रोमोशन झाला आहे माझं. आज तुम्हाला जाऊन तब्बल २३ वर्ष झाली. पण एकही दिवस असा जात नाही ज्या दिवशी मला तुमची आठवण येत नाही. आज मी जे काही आहे, जशी आहे ती तुमच्या शिकवणी मुळेच आणि आज तुम्ही हवे होतात दीपा चं कौतुक करायला. तुमच्या डोळ्यात वेगळीच चमक असती आज.

I have now finally learnt to turn inwards, to be quiet, to meditate, to talk less, and to not get bugged or irritated by people and things around me I have now finally learnt everyone has their own struggles everyone has their own preferences, choices and priorities, and likes and dislikes, no one will behave as you want them to I have now finally learnt it is best to enjoy your own company to be engaged with things that give you joy live for your own self and happiness people and things change and so do the seasons the only thing that is eternal is your soul Cherish it, nourish it, engage in positive things, vibrate higher, and attract good things and make good memories You are here for a reason find it out and live life with that passion
